Lyenna is Perfect

We stayed for five nights and enjoyed every minute of it. We have stayed in a few luxury rentals but nothing comes close to the quality and simplicity of Lyenna. Perfect blend of form, function and location. The whole family felt at home from the moment we arrived, and all wished to stay longer. We will definitely be back.

Long weekend

We had 3 nights with our family at this beautiful house. The kids are pretty active, so fishing, kayaking and swimming right out front were ideal- helped by the fact the weather was in the 30's for the first couple of days! We didn't venture too far from the house, but did make it to the fish van and the colonial cafe (great food) in Triabunna. Also loved Spring beach for a bit of Tasmania surf. Overall a brilliant time and the house had every modern feature you could ask for. Look forward to going back

We have just returned from 4 nights at Lyenna. We met up with old friends from the UK who now also live in the Antipodes that we had not seen for ages and without children (!) so we were onto a winner from the start. Staying at Lyenna however further enhanced our reunion. The design and build of the house have clearly been carefully considered and beautifully executed with an unusually well equiped kitchen and superb views out to Maria Island in the distance. Slurping wine from local vineyards round the fire under the stars didn’t detract from the experience. In short, it’s dead posh. There is easy access to Maria Island and MONA in Hobart, both of which are must dos, if you get bored of the beautiful setting of Orford, which is unlikely. Anthony was easy to get hold of when Jetstar cancelled our flights back to the « North Island » and graciously let us stay a while longer to sort stuff out. Treat yourself.

Great quiet getaway

A beautiful, comfortable space with every amenity imaginable, and then some. So easy to access from Hobart airport, making it an easy long weekend getaway. The location is perfect, and there's so much to do in the surrounding area, or just relax and enjoy the serenity from the luxury of the house. The BBQ area is great and well-equipped, and everything inside is designed for maximum comfort and ease of use.

Just returned from a fabulous weekend at Lyenna. The house is right on the beach with stunning views and every comfort imaginable. It was the perfect getaway for us four friends to relax and re-connect. We loved sitting around the fire pit sipping wine from the local vineyard, eating fresh crays and watching the beautiful pink sunset. There was so much to do around Orford. The local whisky distillery was fabulous and the beaches are gorgeous. The boat trip and walk around Maria Island was a highlight. We went to a few cafes in the area, but buying fresh seafood from the local Fish Van and cooking up a storm in the kitchen was more fun. I've booked to come back again in winter with my Mum and sisters.

Great for outdoor activities or indoor lounging....

Had wonderful weekend with friends at Lyenna. The house itself is lovely - flooded with light, and lots of luxurious touches such as a freestanding bath and supremely comfortable beds. But the best features are its proximity to Maria Island (great for day hikes) and the swimming at nearby Spring Beach. There's also a convenient track out the front for walking / jogging, and the deck is perfect for morning yoga. Lots to do, will definitely return!
